August 15: Psalms 91:14-16

"14. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name."

Prayer One: That we Kenyans and especially Christians will enjoy God's promises because of our love Commitments to Him; That as we acknowledge God's name and reign in our lives and Country, we will experience His Deliverance and Establishment. "15. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation."

Prayer Two: That we Kenyans will enjoy God's response to our prayers, His presence in our troubles and God will honor us. That God will accord us a satisfactory life of quality, quantity and see His salvation where we need it.

August 16: Esther 8:5-6

"5. Esther said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king's provinces."

Prayer One: That we Kenyans will find favor and be pleasing before God and our leaders so our requests and prayers of peace, love and unity will be the right thing to them. That they will reverse everything the enemies of our lives and Country intend to use to harm and destroy us with and turn it for our good. "6. For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?

Prayer Two: That we Kenyans will stand for each other and with one another. That we will not allow by prayer and practice, our enemies to bring evil and destruction on our fellow Kenyans and their belongings and heritage.

August 17: Jeremiah 9:23-24

"23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches."

Prayer One: That we Kenyans allow God to be our Lord individually and as a Country That we will follow God's direction to not take pride in our wisdom, our might or our riches. "24. But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD."

Prayer Two: That we Kenyans will take pride in understanding and knowing the Lord. That we will know that the Lord delights in exercising loving Kindness, loves us unconditionally, dealt with our sins and has given us the gift of righteousness through Christ.

August 18: Titus 1:11-12

"11. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men."

Prayer One: That we Kenyans will discover and respond to the Grace of God that brings salvation. That Kenyans who do not have a personal relationship with God will realize God's unconditional love and the impact of salvation in their lives and foe eternity. "12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world."

Prayer Two: That we Kenyans who are believers will continue in God's grace that teaches us to refuse to live lustful and ungodly lives. That we Kenyan believers will live sober, righteous and Godly lives daily due to God's active grace in our lives.

August 19: Mark 10:27

"27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it(salvation) is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."

Prayer One:That we Kenyans will realize that there is no one else who can offer eternal salvation other than Jesus alone and therefore respond to Him by faith.

Prayer Two: That we Kenyans and especially believers will be assured there is absolutely nothing impossible with God. That as we pray for peace next week during the elections, we shall be assured of God's ability to give us peace, before, during and after elections because He is able to and willing to do that for us.

August 20: 2 Timothy 1:7

"7. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

Prayer One: That we Christians in Kenyans will lead other Kenyans in displaying by words and actions, that the God we love and serve hasn't given us the spirit of fear.

Prayer Two:That we will lead others in operating from a disposition of power, love and a sound mind. That we will be cognizant of the reality that we are sons and daughters of God, who always protects us.

August 21: 1 Samuel 17:45

"45. Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied."

Prayer One: That we Christians in Kenyans will respond to our challenge of fear of fighting, during elections season by relying on God's faithfulness and ability to give us peace.

Prayer Two: That we will approach life and all its situations in the name of the Lord. That we will start giving thanks, for God will fight our battles for us and will ensure these elections go well.
